| If the Committee does well financially it likes to look after the community in some way especially those groups that helped with the event. For example a house has been bought for the Leukaemia Foundation that is hoped one day to be the site of accommodation units for the families of Leukaemia patients. The Fitzroy Lions recently bought walking equipment for the Rockhampton Special School and their aim this year is to put the proceeds to the meals on wheels kitchen. Brothers Rugby put their proceeds into the Junior club. In 2005 they won the award for the best junior club in Queensland |  |
