Each year the committee gets together with the Transport Department, Police , Licensing, Venues involved plus cab and bus companies to get a strategy especially after the Ball.

Post Ball Bus Shuttle
- 12.30 am buses will commence departure from the Rockhampton showgrounds to town or Buses to North and South side will cost $5 per head.
- For patrons travelling into the city centre and night clubs, buses to the left of the entrance as you come out of the Ball will transport patrons of the Ball to a designated bus stop on the corner of Bolsover and William Street. Taxis will be available from the "Secure Taxi Rank" on Denham Street to transport patrons to home destinations..
- Northside and Southside buses will be to the right as you come out of the Ball entrance. They will be available to transport patrons directly from the Showgrounds to motels along Musgravve Street on the Northside and Gladstone road on the Southside . These buses will charge a $5 fare per person.
Pre Ball Gathering
We now have a great system where patrons find their own way to the Brothers Club which is only 200 metres from the Ball entrance. It works well and avoids us being abused if buses don’t turn up. The Rocky cab number is 131008.
